And another year it's coming to an end. Over the summer we have been busy here at the WhiteRoom with some networking functions, birthdays, a dinner with a wildlife photographer who shared some of his tips and of course some travelling.

And now it's autumn - so the annual Thanksgiving Feast is coming up in November. And early December our guests can join the table to enjoy a German Christmas Feast - think mulled wine, goose, red cabbage and traditional sweets. You find Eventbrite links to the tickets for both events in the sidebar.

And of course bookings are taken now for the Christmas Party season. Groups of 8-26 guests can be hosted, all events are BYOB and drinks can be ordered for delivery in advance, menus can be customised and include at least two choices per course. Evenings start with canapés before you get seated for the dinner. Although there is am 11pm curfew, there is much more time enjoy the evening the than typical 2 hour slot in restaurants. So if you want to do something different from the usual pub dinner this year, get in touch. Prices start from 38£ per person.

Enjoy a German Christmas

The Thanksgiving Dinner is fast approaching and after that the Christmas Season starts. I still have a few dates for private Christmas Dinners left. So please get in touch if your celebration is not yet sorted. Also after last year's success I bring the German Christmas Dinner back. Indulge on some roasted Goose, red cabbage and potato dumplings. For Christmas, I can offer traditional Turkey with all the trimmings or a festive menu if you want to wait until Christmas Day for the full shebang. I can host 8 to 25 guests and prices start at 35£ - and it's all BYO.

Thanksgiving will be celebrated on Thursday and Friday, November 25 and 26. 3 courses, with a buffet-style main event - turkey and all the sides. Always catering for dietary requirements. Email me for bookings.

Time flies, it feels like it was spring only the other day - but the year is coming to an end. So we at the WhiteRoom start thinking about Christmas - and have already taken some bookings. If you need to organise your company or team Christmas outing, why not think of dinner at the WhiteRoom. It is BYOB, so your drinks budget is totally in your hand and drinks can be delivered here in advance. Special Event - Terrarium Thursday

Think of Christmas presents early this year - and have a fun evening at the same time. Create your very own indoor garden with Borrowed Light Floral Studio, then enjoy a sumptuous meal.

Your evening starts with a welcome drink and delicious canapes. Once everyone has arrived and feels homely your workshop begins.

Borrowed Light Floral Studio will teach you all about the eco-system within a terrarium and how to care for them. Then there will be the chance to get your hands dirty to make your own. All materials that you will need are included, a glass vessel, fittonia plant, the perfect soil base, cushion moss and pebbles to decorate as you wish.

When everyone is happy with their creation, you will get seated for a scrumptious 2 course autumnal meal with wine of your choice included.

It is this time of the year again - although it still feels like summer with 20+C, it is actually time to think about Christmas.

Bookings are already starting to come in. So in order to safe your date, do get in touch and book you corporate Christmas Dinner - or a family and or friends catch up. 

Hosting dinners from 10 to 25 guests - from 35£ a head - and the Booze is BYO and can be ordered for delivery here in advance. That means it catered for all budget - you can splash out on Champagne or get some cheaper bottles. 

December is booking up quickly though - so the earlier you get in touch the better.

Do you know it's Christmas?

Where did this year go? Although it is only October one has to think of Christmas already - the shops have been starting to fill the shelves with our favourite Christmas treats weeks ago - and the first booking have been made for Christmas dinners. So if you are planning to catch up with friends or family or have you company Christmas Party to organise why don't you get in touch? I can cater for groups from 10 to 25 people and you can enjoy an evening in festive suroundings and great food. And as all this is BYO it will not break the bank.

But if you just want to come to a supper club - there is Halloween to celebrate before Christmas, and Thanksgiving.

Autumn is around the corner...

I can't believe how lazy I have become in writing posts on this blog. What happened to the time? Since February I fed lots of happy diners here, plenty of supper clubs, a few hen parties, birthdays (with a 72nd birthday being my record, but they could party, mind you) lot's of networking events and even a few workshops. So the year has been exciting so far. For the next month a few autumn dinners are planned, mushrooms, game, the more heart flavours - and then a Halloween dinner on the 31st! 

And CHRISTMAS seems around the corner as well - first booking already taken. So if you need to organise your office party or just want to get together with friends, get in touch over the next couple of weeks. Last year saw an abundance of amazing office parties at a very reasonable price!

The run up to Christmas has been really busy at the WhiteRoom. More than 250 people enjoyed a festive night. Companies small or large and friends getting together as well for some festive fun.

Santa is coming to Town...

The countdown has begun. Christmas is coming up quicker than we all thought. Have you already made your plans for your Office Party or just a get together with friends?

The WhiteRoom offers the ideal setting for an intimate party. I host between 10 and 22 people, so no matter how big your group there are options. But get in touch quickly as quite a few Thursday's, Friday's on Saturdays are already booked out.

You can also join for a normal supper club, which will be hosted on December 5 and December 20.

Christmas Season opens with special Dinner hosted by Bump & Baby Club

On November 27 the Christmas season at the WhiteRoom will be opened with a special dinner organised by the Bump & Baby Club. So if you are pregnant and want to meet other pregnant ladies, why not do that over a Christmas Dinner at the WhiteRoom. For more details about their other services check out Bump & Baby Club.

We sprung from Spring to Autumn...

Time flies and I seem to be too lazy, or let's say too busy to write posts onto my blog. This year has been really busy with lots of the usual supper clubs and numerous birthdays, hen parties and corporate gatherings. So where to find time to write??

Now the days are getting shorter and the weather is getting colder, and the food at the WhiteRoom is getting heartier. 

Last weekend saw the Eat your Cocktail dinner but there is plenty more to come before the Christmas season will start at the end of November. Some autumn comfort food dinners, the big Halloween Feast, Costume optional, but the food will be scary (but tasty don't worry). And not to forget the big annual St Martins Goose Dinner in November.

Let's 2014 begin...

I know Christmas is over - but could not resists to post a few more pictures...

2014 has already begun with a sold out dinner last Saturday and another one coming up this Friday - but then there will be a little break as I am I going to enjoy the wonders (and the weather) of Myanmar for almost a month.

I put up 2 new dates for Feb 28 and March 8 - hope you won't have forgotten about the WhiteRoom by then.

Regarding private parties, same thing -  I will be available again for March. So, I wish you all a good start into 2014 and hopefully will see you after my rest - maybe even with the odd Asian influence on the menu.
