The doors are open again...finally...

I am missing you...it was in February 2020 that I welcomed the last group to dine...there were some small bookings over the autumn but due to changes in regulations they had to be cancelled. I kept myself bury with voluntary work...instead of cooking for up to 25 it suddenly became 150...

But now with the easing of restrictions, we are able to meet indoors again...so as of now I can offer you small private celebrations, hen parties, birthdays, corporate celebrations, networking events - without the 1.5 hour slots available in restaurants. 

And if you look further ahead and have things coming up later this year - I am taking bookings for up to 25 again from June 21. Would love to see you around, evenings start from 39£ per head - and its BYOB.

New Year - New Suppers

And another year has started again - after a busy Christmas season, the WhiteRoom is ready for 2019.

So if you are planning a big birthday, a hen party, a networking event or a coproate celebration, get in touch and we can plan an amazing evening for you. 10 to 25 guests, each day of the week.

If you just want to join the table, come around for the next supper club - everyone welcome. Come alone, bring a friend, or a few. 

In January we are celebrating Burns Night, with delicous Scottish food and even a wee Whiskey.

Christmas is coming to town,,,again!

It is this time of the year again - although it still feels like summer with 20+C, it is actually time to think about Christmas.

Bookings are already starting to come in. So in order to safe your date, do get in touch and book you corporate Christmas Dinner - or a family and or friends catch up. 

Hosting dinners from 10 to 25 guests - from 35£ a head - and the Booze is BYO and can be ordered for delivery here in advance. That means it catered for all budget - you can splash out on Champagne or get some cheaper bottles. 

December is booking up quickly though - so the earlier you get in touch the better.

In the meantime, there is obviously Halloween and Thanksgiving - check out the Events section for the supper club details - or get in touch if you want your private party.

Summer Time - Party Time

Summer has arrived early this year - I hope you could all enjoy plenty of sunshine. Here at the WhiteRoom we had some amazing birthday and hen parties - and some networking events with a speaker and discussions are coming up soon. So if you planning anything and are looking for an affordable venue where you can bring you own alcohol. get in touch. I can host up to 25 guests.

On the Supper Club front, I had a spring event, with a lovely group of people who enjoyed interesting chats over the meal.

Upcoming this month is the Traditional White Asparagus Dinner, June 15th - as it is the end of the season, it will be the last chance to try the "Queen of Vegetables" this year.

Private Dinners - Celebrate your Hen, Birthday or Corporate Event

Whatever the reason, a celebration or event at the WhiteRoom will always be a success. Countless hens have been surprised by the bridesmaides and enjoyed evenings of games, good food, music and laughter - and sometimes even the butler in the buff And the good thing - it is all private and stays behind closed doors ;-) 

For birthdays there are no boundaries either, evertything from big weeekend 30ies, 40ies, 50ies, actually up to 75th bashes to small midweek  dinner for other years in between - the WhiteRoom as catered for all. 

Offering tailor made menus in a central location for up to 25 people is a solution for many worrying about what to organise for their big days.

 

Midweek is busy here as well - a perfect spot for team celebrations or networking events. And even if you want to work a bit first or have a presentation, we can cater to all you needs. And again - all your business secrets stay inside - nothing to worry about nosy listeners at the next table.

Do you know it's Christmas?

Where did this year go? Although it is only October one has to think of Christmas already - the shops have been starting to fill the shelves with our favourite Christmas treats weeks ago - and the first booking have been made for Christmas dinners. So if you are planning to catch up with friends or family or have you company Christmas Party to organise why don't you get in touch? I can cater for groups from 10 to 25 people and you can enjoy an evening in festive suroundings and great food. And as all this is BYO it will not break the bank.

But if you just want to come to a supper club - there is Halloween to celebrate before Christmas, and Thanksgiving.

And of course if you have a birthday or a hen party to organise for this year - a few weekend spots are still available for tha as well. Hope to see you around soon!

So, almost mid-July already and no real summer on the horizon. But WhiteRoomSupperClub can help - for the next supper clubs I put some mouth watering fresh dishes on the menu - so whatever happens it will feel like summer. See the NEXT EVENTS column for details. But think peas, mint, lamb, Pimms, strawberries....

Anyway, in the meantime I have been busy hosting numerous hen parties, birthdays and a few corporate celebrations. And of course an amazing Easter lunch. A few pictures to be seen here. especially lovely was the decoration one group brought for the hen party - all handmade and colour coordinated.

The rest of July is now booked but there are a few August and September weekend days available - so if you have something to celebrate just get in touch.

New Year, New Events

After the busy Christmas season with countless office Christmas Dinners and Lunches, 2016 started for me with the annual 4 weeks trip which has become part of my life in the last couple of years. I enjoyed traveling around Sri Lanka for a month, enjoying this amazing little Island. From beaches to mountains, rain forests to rice plantations - and of course the food as well. Maybe I will do A Sri Lankan Rice and Curry Night one day at the WhiteRoom.

But I have been back for a while now and the White Room saw a succession of Hen Parties and birthdays - many more to come, especially April seems to be the month for Hen Do's. 

So if any of you is planning any kind of get together from 8 - 25 people just get in touch for a tailor made evening.

In the meantime there are supper clubs coming up as well. Celebration Season is starting soon, there is St. Patrick's day coming up which will be celebrated with a traditional Irish Feast - WhiteRoom going green.

Shortly after Easter and with it hopefully spring will arrive - so this year I invite you all for an Easter Lunch for a change. Come and start your day with a Bloody Mary followed by some German/Sandi starters and some succulent lamb for main - not to forget the sweet indulgence to follow with dessert. The countdown has  begun, nights are getting longer and Christmas is on the doorstep. The WhiteRoom has already taken quite a few bookings for Corporate Christmas Parties, so be quick if you wnat to get in.

Why not enjoying a nice 4 course meal at the WhiteRoom, at  your own pace and with your on bottles - all evenings are BYO and drinks can be ordered for delivery in advance, instead of being rushed in a restaurant or pub. Of course you can also book for lunch. So if you have a party to organise for 10 to 25 people and want to do something different this Christmas, get in touch quickly for a taylor made evening.

Autumn is around the corner...

I can't believe how lazy I have become in writing posts on this blog. What happened to the time? Since February I fed lots of happy diners here, plenty of supper clubs, a few hen parties, birthdays (with a 72nd birthday being my record, but they could party, mind you) lot's of networking events and even a few workshops. So the year has been exciting so far. For the next month a few autumn dinners are planned, mushrooms, game, the more heart flavours - and then a Halloween dinner on the 31st! 

And CHRISTMAS seems around the corner as well - first booking already taken. So if you need to organise your office party or just want to get together with friends, get in touch over the next couple of weeks. Last year saw an abundance of amazing office parties at a very reasonable price!

New Year, New Dates

After Christmas I went travelling through Asia for a month, but have been busy since my return, a few 30th birthday parties, a surprise dinner and some interesting network events. Capacity has now been increased to 25, so get in touch if you have an evening to plan.

Only 6 weeks to go until the days get an hour longer again. So we have almost survived the winter. To get some colour into the grey days there is the Citrus Fruit Dinner on Feb 27 to look forward to. In March the March Madness and then Easter, when we have already survived the worst. So plenty to chose from on those cold winter nights. Cosying with good food and interesting chats with new friends.

Merry Christmas

The run up to Christmas has been really busy at the WhiteRoom. More than 250 people enjoyed a festive night. Companies small or large and friends getting together as well for some festive fun.

We sprung from Spring to Autumn...

Time flies and I seem to be too lazy, or let's say too busy to write posts onto my blog. This year has been really busy with lots of the usual supper clubs and numerous birthdays, hen parties and corporate gatherings. So where to find time to write??

Now the days are getting shorter and the weather is getting colder, and the food at the WhiteRoom is getting heartier. 

Last weekend saw the Eat your Cocktail dinner but there is plenty more to come before the Christmas season will start at the end of November. Some autumn comfort food dinners, the big Halloween Feast, Costume optional, but the food will be scary (but tasty don't worry). And not to forget the big annual St Martins Goose Dinner in November.

Spring has Sprung...

Time is flying as usual - Christmas just over and already spring - so look out for some fresh spring flavours on the menu - and hopefully the first canapés on the balcony soon. Not to forget the white asparagus season which shall start in a couple of weeks. 

And on another note, I am happy to announce that I can now host private dinners for up to 22 people - so if you have a birthday, a hen night or a company celebration - why not get in touch to arrange a unique evening at the WhiteRoom.
