Spring is on its way...Hen party? Networking? Birthday? Here is your ideal host:

After a busy Christmas season, we hosted a couple of corporate networking dinners, a 70th birthday and a memorial dinner over the last couple of weeks. With spring on the doorstep, it's time to open up for some shared table supper clubs again. Come along to celebrate St Patrick's Day with a traditional Irish Feast or join for a scrumptious Easter Lunch.

WhiteRoomSupper Club during Lockdown

At the start of this year no one would have thought this post would need to be written. I had just hosted a few Chinese tour groups for Chinese New Year celebrations, and the whole of 2020 was pinned out with regular bookings of those groups during the year...until Covid 19 came and changed the world.

It was clear that there were no supper clubs to be hosted for a while, and no Chinese tourist groups to arrive for even a longer while. 

Something had to be done, I didn't want to spend my time binge watching Netflix, advancing myself with halfhearted online courses or trying somehow to establish an "online supper club".

Volunteering it was, since March I have been helping at Food for All, cooking and distributing meals. I was also enabled to set up a team of 5 to cook and distribute 100 meals to the homeless on Trafalgar Square each Friday. 25 guests maximum at the WhiteRoom seems like a piece of cake now. WhiteRoom standards (almost) adhered to - we have been told to serve the best food on the Square ;-)

related job losses, desperate during lockdown, with no access to facilities, I started I non food related initiative: ToiletriesForTheStreets. I have raised over £2,000 so far and been providing emergency pack kits as in direct outreach and organised big handouts.

Covid-19 has changed my world - to the better. The opportunities I had to try new things, meet new people, see a different dimension of live in London, it definitely enriched my life.

Spring it's on the way

The new decade has arrived to a shaky start ... but spring is around the corner, so let us be positive. 

Spring is usually the time of Hen parties, so get in touch if you have to organise one. I still have a few Saturday's available - if you want a unique experience, you are at the right place.

Obviously, I also cater for birthdays and other celebrations as well as any kind of corporate dinner.

In terms of regular supper clubs, there is a St Patrick's Dinner coming up. Join the table for some Irish fun.

Christmas is coming to town...again...

Time flies, it feels like it was spring only the other day - but the year is coming to an end. So we at the WhiteRoom start thinking about Christmas - and have already taken some bookings. If you need to organise your company or team Christmas outing, why not think of dinner at the WhiteRoom. It is BYOB, so your drinks budget is totally in your hand and drinks can be delivered here in advance. You can also stay for more than the 2 hours in a restaurant - so time for some Secret Santa or just more time to chat. Get in touch - I cater for 10 to 25 guests and prices start at 35£.

New Year - New Suppers

And another year has started again - after a busy Christmas season, the WhiteRoom is ready for 2019.

So if you are planning a big birthday, a hen party, a networking event or a coproate celebration, get in touch and we can plan an amazing evening for you. 10 to 25 guests, each day of the week.

If you just want to join the table, come around for the next supper club - everyone welcome. Come alone, bring a friend, or a few. 

In January we are celebrating Burns Night, with delicous Scottish food and even a wee Whiskey.

Christmas is coming to town,,,again!

It is this time of the year again - although it still feels like summer with 20+C, it is actually time to think about Christmas.

Bookings are already starting to come in. So in order to safe your date, do get in touch and book you corporate Christmas Dinner - or a family and or friends catch up. 

Hosting dinners from 10 to 25 guests - from 35£ a head - and the Booze is BYO and can be ordered for delivery here in advance. That means it catered for all budget - you can splash out on Champagne or get some cheaper bottles. 

December is booking up quickly though - so the earlier you get in touch the better.

Hen's and Birthday celebrations welcome as well of course.

Time has been flying - can't believe the last post I wrote is a year old...there have been numerous supper clubs, hen parties and birthdays - plenty of happy guests.

I also was lucky enough to travel a bit - so that's probably why I never got around to update the blog. So, what's new? For next week there is the big St Paddy's Day Feast planned and then early April a meal around Oranges and Limes - in season at the moment, to bring some colour in the cooking before spring starts properly. So have a look at the menus at get booking. 

Also wedding season is coming up - so if you want to organise a fabulous hen dinner - the WhiteRoom is the right location. Timings are flexible, plenty of time for games and a tailor made menu, which can be themed. I still have a few Saturdays available over the next months. 

The space is also ideal for professional talks or discussions followed by dinner or canapés - contact me for all enquiries and I am sure I can make it happen.

Private Dinners - Celebrate your Hen, Birthday or Corporate Event

Whatever the reason, a celebration or event at the WhiteRoom will always be a success. Countless hens have been surprised by the bridesmaides and enjoyed evenings of games, good food, music and laughter - and sometimes even the butler in the buff And the good thing - it is all private and stays behind closed doors ;-) 

For birthdays there are no boundaries either, evertything from big weeekend 30ies, 40ies, 50ies, actually up to 75th bashes to small midweek  dinner for other years in between - the WhiteRoom as catered for all. 

Offering tailor made menus in a central location for up to 25 people is a solution for many worrying about what to organise for their big days.

 

Midweek is busy here as well - a perfect spot for team celebrations or networking events. And even if you want to work a bit first or have a presentation, we can cater to all you needs. And again - all your business secrets stay inside - nothing to worry about nosy listeners at the next table.

Do you know it's Christmas?

Where did this year go? Although it is only October one has to think of Christmas already - the shops have been starting to fill the shelves with our favourite Christmas treats weeks ago - and the first booking have been made for Christmas dinners. So if you are planning to catch up with friends or family or have you company Christmas Party to organise why don't you get in touch? I can cater for groups from 10 to 25 people and you can enjoy an evening in festive suroundings and great food. And as all this is BYO it will not break the bank.

But if you just want to come to a supper club - there is Halloween to celebrate before Christmas, and Thanksgiving.

And of course if you have a birthday or a hen party to organise for this year - a few weekend spots are still available for tha as well. Hope to see you around soon!

So, almost mid-July already and no real summer on the horizon. But WhiteRoomSupperClub can help - for the next supper clubs I put some mouth watering fresh dishes on the menu - so whatever happens it will feel like summer. See the NEXT EVENTS column for details. Anyway, in the meantime I have been busy hosting numerous hen parties, birthdays and a few corporate celebrations. And of course an amazing Easter lunch. A few pictures to be seen here. especially lovely was the decoration one group brought for the hen party - all handmade and colour coordinated.

The rest of July is now booked but there are a few August and September weekend days available - so if you have something to celebrate just get in touch.
